spot view sling shot problem

Postby newtie » Mon May 16, 2016 2:15 am

Hi all-

I have a new, odd issue.

Running P3D3.2.3

When in spot view, my aircraft (Milviz B58) will zoom forward and then fall back into place on an erratic basis. I had Opus installed a few weeks back and noted that when entering spot view running that software, spot view would always default to the rear of the aircraft. I have since stopped using it and removed it. Did Opus leave an altered camera definition behind? If so, is there a way to reset default camera definitions? I'm guessing here but have never had this problem before.

Cheers,
Mark

You mentioned that your aircraft would zoom forward and backwards, but it sounds like you're only describing camera movement. Was the aircraft itself moving or was it just the camera in spot view?

Spot view does move around while you're flying, so what you're seeing may just be the regular spot view. If something was left from Opus, a client reinstall should clean everything out to its original state.

Hi Mike-

It's the camera and not the aircraft.

Great idea on the client reinstall; I think I'll give it a try.

Cheers,
Mark
