No that you mention it, I had forgotten about that... I will have to take a look as that was almost two years ago...

@ jetpilot1980 ,

Ok, sounds like a plan.

Note:
Also, without as many Add-ons as possible during testing.

So looking at it; I know I had some glitches and lost some things not that long ago... I it appears as though emptystandbylist is not in use on my system at the moment... I will get it up and running again...

Are you doing any overclocking of the CPU or GPU? If so disable them and see if that stops the crashes.

So here I go again...

At this point I have installed all the visual studios... all the way back to 2005, I reinstalled the emptystandybylist and re-did the HDD virtual memory settings... and yet I get another Kernelbase crash... So at this point I am going to try some more elimination testing...

Once I turned off

1. AIGTC
2. MAIW - Europe
3. My AI traffic simobjects folder

I was able to load...

However turning back on

1. MAIW- Europe
2. My AI traffic simobjects folder

The crash comes back... Also it seems to be associated with the Berlin area for some reason.

This time around visual studio asked me if I wanted to enter a debugger so I told it "yes" the details it gave me are as follows:

Unhandled exception at 0x00007FFA63354F69 (KernelBase.dll) in Prepar3D.exe: 0xC000041D: An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback

Kernelbase.pdb not loaded

Searching for the exception code you're getting now brought me to this article (among others):

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/624 ... ption-code

A lot of stuff in there, but there was a reference to DirectX in there.

So what I would do forst of all here would be to get the DirectX Redistributables from Microsoft and install them, then run Windows Update and then try P3D again.

Another article yielded this:

"Unknown software exception (0xe0434352) is an error some of Windows users are reporting that they are facing at the time of shutting down their computer or when they are trying to launch an application. Unknown software exception (0xe0434352) is an error that is related to .NET installation. The majority of the reasons for this error is having a faulty .NET Framework, another reason is because of some corrupted files or old drivers that are contradicting with Windows."

For this one, I would open an administrative command prompt, and then enter this command:

sfc /scannow

If the issue persists, then some drivers for the various devices on your motherboard might have issues, and for keeping those drivers up to date I use a program called Driver Booster. It is available in freeware and payware versions, the freeware version should work fine for you. But this program is not the only one that does that, there are many others that will do the same for you.

So I did run that .net repair tool and it did say it found and fixed some things. At the moment I am up and running...I first loaded the sim with the MAIW Europe turned off and the AI simobjects folder turned back on. Which worked fine, I then turned MAIW Europe back on seems to run fine for the moment and finally I turned AIGTC back on. No crashes...

One "strange" behavior I have noticed recently is that when loading while I typically see just a black screen with the progress bar in the middle showing % loaded and what it is loading... I noticed that on my last several loads starting at around 80% (adjusting scenery objects" and all the way through 100% it has been going in and out of sim basically my progress bar and load status are still showing but instead of the typical all black screen it will show the partially loaded F-22 cockpit (gauges blank) and the scenery in a poor focus. One thing I am wondering is if increasing the "wait times" on my system would help any either?

Also I do see some other things to try here as well in the even it acts up again:

I doubt it if increasing the wait times will have any effect on this.

But Ai for certain has nothing to do with this error.

I just today installed MAIW/JYAI's new MH-6 Little Bird package, and flying out of KHOP could enjoy many helicopters flying around doing their thing.

Well it may not be the AI... and yes I keep up with all the MAIW packages... My new thought turns to a couple of things...

1. Either perhaps the sheer volume of AI traffic is overwhelming the system...

2. It may be an incompatible airport .bgl I have somewhere in my MAIW Airports folder reference the last post in this thread:

https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/5110 ... elbasedll/

3. I have been running ADE at the same time as P3D as of late doing some scenery design work so that could be overwhelming things..

What I do know is the combination of MAIW Europe being turned on and going to the Berlin area triggers it...

A quote:

"It may be an incompatible airport .bgl I have somewhere in my MAIW Airports folder"

That may be it... and I have a feeling that you might be looking at the roads leading towards Berlin...

But as for volume, I don't think that is a problem. I have over 10,340 mixed AI flight plans - AIG, MAIW, ships and others, with associated vehicles, and it loads and runs just fine.

But just to rule that out, you might want to use AIFP, point it to v. 4.5 as the target sim, and then under "Bulk Traffic" select "Recompile Traffic files" and let it run.

@ jetpilot1980 ,

Have you tested with 100% (maximum slider) P3D default AI traffic (aircraft, airport traffic, boat traffic), no Add-on AI traffic and with your scenery products or P3D default scenery.?

Basically, testing a default P3D setup.
