Extremely low FPS when loading addon aircraft

When loading the default aircraft, I get a decent fps of 23-27. However whenever I load any addon aircraft (I only have the Aerosoft Airvus and the Pmdg 737), I get for the A320 in outside view 4.1 and in cockpit view 8.2 - for the 737 outside 1.5 and cockpit 5.6. with the default P3d graphics settings. I even tried lowering all slides to a bare minimum with no effect.
I also run P3d 4.5 and the results- with all possible addon aircraft - is a decent 25-29 fps (limited by Nvidia Control to 33 fps)

My Specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Memory 32 gb
Display GTX1080 8GB

Any help is highlöy appreciated.

Ed, one important piece of information about your system is missing - what CPU do you have, and what clock rate is it running at?

My CPU i7-3770@3.40 running at 3.70 Ghz

I also should mention that at the moment I have no addon program installed or running - not even FSUIPC.

I assume you are talking about P3Dv5? version number xxxx ?


I have PMDG but not Aerosoft (Airvus?) Bus.

For PMDG / better P3D FPS:
Are you using the Copilots displays?
Have you modified the PMDG (CDU) performance Options?

Are you using AI Traffic (P3D Option) ? or any payware AI traffic?

Any Add-ons running (weather Programs, viewers like Chaseplane etc.) ?

The Aerosoft Airbus and the Pmdg are freshly installed and I have not modified anything.
Dont have any addons running.

How many and what type Displays, monitors, tablets in use ?

Hi Guys, me again...

The problem is back!!
Situation as follows:
P3d v5.1: default aircraft and location, default settings, no addons ....FPS in single digits =8.0
P3d v4..5 same as above FPS= 35 (limited to 35)
Hardware wise I have in the meantime a new GPU: Geforce RTX3060 12GB
Memory 32GB
Windows 10 64 bit
P3d 5.1.12.26829
P3d 4.5.14.34698

Logic tell me that the problem lies with P3d v5.1, since I get so much better results with v4.5.

Appreciate any help and/or suggestions.

Ok,
Go to you P3D 5.1 folder and find file
Delete Generated Files
Double click it and wait a few seconds for it to finish

then re-boot your PC and start P3D again

What are your FPS when you load the default flight F-35A at KRND ?

It starts at 7-8 and after a few seconds it stabilizes at 30 (target of 30)
