What is the difference between "G FORCE" and "ACCELERATION"?

Post by bulca »

Hello.

I am developing about acceleration with Prepar3D SimConnect.

There are 2 modes that I am testing.
1. Use normal joystick mode
2. Command Acceleration Body Z from SimConnect

From mode 1, when aircraft flies level flight(maintain altitude), G FORCE is 1.0 and Acceleration Body Z is 0.0.
However, from mode 2, when I command Acceleration Body Z is 1.0, G FORCE become 0.0 .

From Prepar3D Learning Center, "G FORCE" description is just "Current g force".
It is not enough to understand for me.

I want to know exact meaning of "G FORCE" and the difference or relationship between "G FORCE" and "ACCELERATION Body Z".

Thank you.
