P3Dv5.1 Special effect
How to stop an illuminated particle on a deck of a boat?
The particle go through to the deck and stop in the water.
What we have to add in this fx file for not having light on the water?
Can you have a look here to see what I say.

Hi Michel,

Have you tried increasing your Falloff Exponent value? This should reduce the distance that the light will draw.

Regards,
Clifton

Wonderful!!!
You are an expert.
Thank you very much.
I am happy because it is exactly that we want.
Have a look on the result.
Water is not illuminated.

Looks like you had a "Falloff Exponent" value of 0.075 in the code sample above.

What did you change the value to for the improved results?
I can think of another big ship that could benefit from this. :-)

Hi Frank
Maximum value is 2 in the SDK section Light N tab
But there is no limit in the [ParticleAttributes.0]
So you can try with a higher value.
I put 10 for a good result.
Thank you very much to Clifton Crane.
