P3Dv5HF2 Helipad texture flying at reference altitude

SDK P3Dv5HF2 Helipad texture flying at the reference altitude of the airport

Hi,
Make an XML for adding an Helipad on a sloped airport.
Add the helipad on the part of the runway which is below the reference altitude of the airport.
Be careful to the altitude of the helipad which must be the same as the part of the runway where you put the helipad.
Compile your xml using bglcomp.exe wich is in the Prepar3D v5 SDK \World\Scenery
Then put your bgl in an active scenery or in a scenery test with ONLY this bgl.
Have a look on the result.
The texture is above the Helipad, flying at the reference altitude of the airport.
Best regards
Michel

EXAMPLE of XML to add an Helipad at LSGK default scenery.

DON’T USE ANY SPECIFIC SCENERY.
USE ONLY DEFAULT SCENERY in P3Dv2HF2, P3Dv5HF2 SDK and XML file.

Thank you very much Max.
Same issue with adding Ground Poly using ADE. All the textures are at the airport elevation when the ground poly is below the airport elevation. It may be the same cause.
Best regards
Michel

That seems like something different to me, I don't use ADE to add 'ground poly', do you mean flattening or airport background polygon, or a like a 3d runway surface that has zbias?

Yes, you right, this is something different because I made a test on LSGK and GP is OK.
So, making a GP is not an SDK issue but helipad texture seems to be an issue.

Hi Max
Have you re-create the issue?
Best regards
