Terrain Texture BGL is overexposed in P3D v4.5 (Latest hotfix)

Postby Jeeveegee » Fri May 29, 2020 2:01 pm

Hey all, I have a quick question I hope someone can help me with. I created a Terrain Texture (Eindhoven Airport EHEH) using a GeoTIFF and Resample.exe from latest P3D 4.5 SDK

At first glance it looks fine when I check the output BGL in TmfViewer, colors look normal, although they could be more saturated perhaps:

But when I load it into P3D the colors shift dramatically, way lighter and more blue suddenly:

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? I've made some edits to the color but it keeps coming out very differently from what I'm seeing in Photoshop or TmfViewer.

In case anyone is wondering, here's my .INF file. Did I make a mistake in here?

I have the same issue with Prepar3D Version 5 including the latest hotfix.

Also the night light textures (Generated with Resample tool) appear overexposed.

All the textures looks good on Photoshop but are overexposed at Preprar 3D v5.

It overexposed textures improve after deactivating the HDR Lighting.

I will have to rework all my night textures, I spent one month creating the nigh textures.
The night textures look good on Prepar3d v4.5 but in Prepar 3D v5 they look overexposed and with green color instead of yellow color.

The water texture is more blue with prepar3d v5 and the water above the blend mask appear darken than the water outside the blend mask area.

I think it is related to DX11 vs DX12 .

I like my scenery on Prepar3d v4.5 over the PRepar3d v5.
