Simconnect Not Getting Flap Handle Position

Hello,

I am working with a Texas T6-B add-on plane, and for some reason SimConnect cannot capture the "flap handle percent" or "flap handle index": they always stay at 0. Interestingly enough, moving the flaps creates a change in the "spoiler handle position" capture instead, (about .06 in a [0,1] bounded range) which is very strange. SimConnect does appear to be able to capture "flaps num handle positions" (it says there are 9). I'm hoping it's not something wrong with the add-on, as I am not very familiar with how to fix that. Any insight would be appreciated.

UPDATE: We are pretty sure it's the add-on plane, and are reaching out to them now
