Easy way to have HUD only VC?

For topics related to the creation of simulation objects (SimObjects). This includes development of aircraft, ground, and maritime vehicles.

Easy way to have HUD only VC?

I'm trying to take the Default F-16 in v4.4 and create a version of the VC containing HUD only.
I'm not aware of any option to edit config files to allow it, and the only way I can think of is editing the internal MDL and deleting everything bu the HUD dinamic texture.

surely there is a simpler way?

Hi Uri,

You can take the HUD gauge and add this to a standalone 2D panel window. You may need to make some sizing adjustments. Refer to the panel configuration documentation for more info here: https://prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/panels_a ... files.html

Thanks Rob. I was aware of the option, but prefer a proper VC, as HUD "collimation" is already built in on tilt and zoom in the view.
