in a helicopter SAR scenario, I'm interested in reading the position of the winch hook during the simulation. The aim is to monitor the position of the hook relative the helicopter in real time.
Is there any way to read the hook position variable with SimConnect in C #?
Not finding it, I tried the alternative of reading the position of the hooked scenario object with no result. I can read the position as long as the object is in the scenario but not hooked. As soon as the object become hooked it disappears from the scenario items, I can no longer find its ID.
Please, do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?
