P3Dv5 sloped aprons and taxiway surfaces not respecting surfaceQuery="NONE"

Postby brynmwr » Sat Sep 05, 2020 4:06 pm

Hi,

If I set taxiwaypaths and aprons surfaceQuery="NONE", the taxiway lines and lights will clamp to the underlying terrain, but the surface will remain at the airport altitude (or will respect the alt in the taxipoints if that is set). However, runway surfaces will clamp to the terrain with surfaceQuery="NONE". Could you make this consistent so apron surfaces and taxi surfaces also clamp to the terrain with surfaceQuery="NONE" set?

Yes, I think this is a great idea and we will take this into account in any future updates to sloping runways, taxiways and aprons.
