Scenery Errors in Alaska

Postby Francisco Aguiar » Thu Apr 23, 2020 12:31 am

I'd like to report a couple of scenery erros I've run into while flying in Alaska, so far. I hope the Dev team can have it fixed for the upcoming HF
1) Road crossing Puntilla Lake at Rainy Pass Lodge(6AK)
2) The Yukon River shore is totally displaced towards the mid river at Galena-Pitka(PAGA)
Thank you

Hey,

Can you post a screenshot with the coordinates of the issues you listed? This will help us track down and fix the issues quicker!

How to post a screenshot:

Road crossing Puntilla Lake at Rainy Pass Lodge(6AK) - according to my data this is the Iditarod trail? My source data may be out of date or inaccurate but I'm assuming it goes across the lake because a lot of the times it's frozen?

I'll have to second the need for the screenshot of the river at PAGA. I see roads, in the water but i figure maybe the ice usually covers that portion....

You're right the Rainy Pass lodge(Puntilla Lake - 6AK ) is in the Iditarod trail but as far as I know there are no roads crossing the lake itself Image

As for PAGA you're right once again at first I thought it was a displaced river shore, in fact it is roads in the waterImage
I hope that helps and thanks a lot for your attention

Thanks, we'll have to look at updating the road data in Alaska (obviously) as a whole.
