Anyone have problems with OKBK Kuwait Airport in prepard 4.5?
I already installed the Prepard 4.5 Hot Fix last month. I have tried several airports but only here I found terrain failures.

Hi everyone

First at all sorry for the delayed reply. I´ve been out of my country for a few weeks.
I fixed the pics.
As I say only trouble in Kuwait airport, I remember to have a similar terrain issue with the payware Flightbean QUITO SEQM, but I fixed it a long time ago.


My PC Specs:
i7-8700K 3.7Ghz

Open the Orbx Vector control panel and select the Airport Elevation Correction tab. Run a Vector scan of airports when ever you add new airports to let it check to see if it needs to disable AEC for that location.

When you see cliffs around an airport it is almost always means you need to run the AEC scan or manually disable that airport in the Vector AEC.

I've also got the Kuwait OKBK scenery but when I add it to the scenery library, I get a CTD with P3Dv4.

Any advice on this?

I have the same CTD with the OKBK scenery. No solution. Developer says it does not work with any P3D; but he is working on an update for P3D. How soon he did not say.

Hello - just purchased the OKBK FSX software from SimMarket yesterday and had expected it to run using P3Dv4.5HF3. Unfortunately, after installing it, I constantly get CTD's when selecting it.

Has anyone in the meantime found a solution to get it running in P3D?

1. This thread is old. The post before yours is over a year old.

2. If you bought a FSX scenery for P3D - any P3D version, but especially the later ones - you should have checked for compatibility before purchase.

The best thing I can advise you to do is to see if you can get a refund, but your chances are not good.
