KIND scenery

KIND scenery

I have discovered that I have no terminal buildings at KIND, I'm barely PC competent but have found that the KIND scenery should be in root\scenery\0302\scenery\APX24170.bgl (I hope I'm right in this assumption) the problem is that file doesn't exist, nor any 24170 file in that folder. My instinct is to run the P3D Academic installer but do I run the whole set-up.exe and select repair; or use the install_scenery.msi installer, .... or am I going about this the wrong way?

Ian,

Which P3D version do you have?

If this is v. 4.x, then you are out of luck, except for adding a suitable 3rd party scenery here. All development on v. 4.x has ceased long ago.

If this is a v. 5 earlier than v. 5.2 HF1, then you need to update to v. 5.2 HF1 and see if the issue persists.

I'm using P3DV5.2HF1 so somehow the 24170 file has been deleted. I not using a 3rd party KIND scenery but I am using Orbx, however there is no Orbx 24170 file in the 0302 folder.
If I run the run the run the root P3D installer in the repair option or run the scenery .msi installer will I have to reinstall my add-on sceneries?

I do not know that, I have never used that option myself.

KIND, P3Dv5.2.22.27615 (P3Dv5.2HF1) has not been updated.

Terminal / Buildings are missing.

The BGL file is present in my setup.

I gave KIND a small update for the next update. Thanks for the report!

@Max Perry - also same problem with KPIT - no terminal buildings.

I don't get that at KPIT, the buildings are set to appear at 'Normal' Scenery complexity and I see them.
