New SurfaceQuery field

Postby kamarad99 » Wed Apr 22, 2020 12:22 am

There is a new SurfaceQuery field in the SDK but no explanation of what does the various options: Default, None, Elevation_and_type.

What are the use of this new keyword and what is the difference between Defaulg, None and Elevation_and_Type ?

It is part of several new properties that are used for creating sloped airports in P3D v5

Yep I know. I used ADE to create a first sloped airport but still not sure of the effect of selecting DEFAULT, NONE or ALTITUDE_AND_TYPE on the rendering of sloped runways. I found by testing that NONE draw the runway directly on the ground polygon while ALTITUDE_AND_TYPE draw the runway according to the vertex altitude of the runway taxiway.

Hello,

I'm trying to turn off all of the little elevation flags that appear all across the airport, so that I can edit an AFCAD. A scenery developer said that there is a keystroke combination for this, can you please provide that?
