Is it possible to remove the Tower view from the viewing cycle?

Post by Wiss »

Hello everybody

As the title of this thread says. I would like to know whether it is possible to remove tower views when cycling through the different views with S or Shift + S. The reason for this is that sometimes I want to cycle between the cockpit and external views of my plane. However, If I'm flying at tens of thousands of feet in altitude, and if accidentally select the Tower view (which is very easy when alternating between S and Shift + S commands), sometimes the simulator takes ages to load said view. This is especially the case when the tower taken as the viewpoint is located in a heavily loaded scenery.

For this reason, is there any way to remove the tower views when cycling with S and Shift + S?

I'm using Prepar3D v4.5 with HF3

Thanks!

Hi Wiss
In the camera.cfg you will find all the views with their own GUID.
I doesn't know if it is possible to delete one.
But you can use your own views in the aircraft.cfg

Sure. Just define a "//" before the [Camera Definition xxx] Line in Camera cfg and thats it.

I found a parameter in the config that works as well:

CycleHidden=Yes
I9-9900
32GB RAM
RTX 3090 FTW
Assorted SSDs and HDDs
3x55" TVs
Alpha/Bravo Honeycombs
SPAD.Next, ASV6
