P3Dv5 fails to load

Goes through the startup then crashes to desktop. Sometimes it gets as far as the intro screen but will not go further before crashing again. Uninstalled and reinstalled with no changes. It worked fine until two days ago. Even restored the computer to before the problem started to occur. Still getting the CTD. Nothing new added to cause? this problem. Any help would be appreciated for sure.

Kept reading & finally found the solution, deleted the generated folders per the troubleshooting tips.

Did you update the NVIDIA drivers today or yesterday?
After an update today, driver 465.89 my Prepar3D v5.1 also gives a CTD.....
I revert to the previous driver and all went well....

That exactly what happened to me yesterday after updating the Nvidia driver to the latest version 465.89. Got a crash P3D v5 HF2 after the load pre flight view without any error message (just the sim close). that didn't happen launching the P3D v4 but P3D v5 HF2 yes. To fix this glitch issue I reverted back my graphic driver to the 461.72 version and all is running back to normal again. Just to confirm this issue with the latest Nvidia driver 465.89. By the way my grapic card is a GTX 1080.
Even deleting the generated files didn't solve this issue. I did the delete generated files but didn't solve the issue. only reverting back to earlier Nvidia driver solved the issue here.
Hope this could help some others to solve their potentialy issue.
