Re: V4.5 HF crash 2.5-3 hours into flight.
You have the good ol' Windows Kernalbase error.
What has worked for me is to treat it as a Windows problem, not a P3D problem and run the sfc and DISM tools to restore any corrupt files, (for some reason, there are always a couple).

Re: Thank You LM-Team
Just installed the update today, having been on holiday.
Quick test on the ground at Heathrow gives an average 5 to 6 fps improvement.
So, very happy so far. Just had to remove the Advantage radar files as recommended, then everything worked as normal.

Re: Vsync fixed my crashing issues
Said with tongue in cheek.
You need to re-think your expectations with P3D, "down to 20fps", many of us with multiple add-ons would be extremely happy to have 20 in some complex situations.

Re: Is it okay now to install V4.5
It always was "safe".
The choice is yours. You can always go back to 4.4 if you don't like it.

Re: PBR and Antialiasing quality
OK. When I enlarge it, I can now see.
I wouldn't call it a major problem though. Just a niggle.

Sorry I cannot for the life of me see what you are complaining about. Both planes look great.

Re: Kernelbase.dll crash
I had a very odd set of crashes, which I eventually found were due to the pagefile setting being set to zero. My system needs the extra memory to cope. When I increased it to a reasonable amount the crashes went away.

Just for us poor ordinary mortals, could you please explain what you are talking about. To me, the picture is perfectly normal!

Re: 4.5 update no ATC/AI updates this time either :(
Forgot to mention that the version of P3D is basically immaterial to RC4 as it relies on Simconnect and FSUIPC (unless I am mistaken).

Re: 4.5 update no ATC/AI updates this time either :(
"I had read Radar contact is now freeware / no longer supported by the developer. Is that correct?" You are correct in that RC is now freeware. As regards support, it depends what support you mean. There will be no development or improvement of the program but support is freely available o...

Re: memory message error
I have basically the same "older" system but with a GTX1080 and with 4.5 it was also giving OoM error messages, even before starting to fly. If I turn things down a bit and reboot my PV before starting P3D it seems to fix it. (Memory leak/ non termination somewhere along the line?) I am st...

Re: Frame issues in Prepar3D v4.5
I thought initially all was OK. But after trying to do a flight from (Payware) Heathrow with True Earth GB activated in a PMDG QOTS, I was shocked to get an OoM error before the scenario even loaded.(Was using 98% of RAM and just under 7gb of the GTX's 8gb). With a stock plane I got it going at abou...

Re: pp3d4.5 and hifi as
After I updated, AS told me to install simconnect, which it "kindly" loaded a screen for me to install from.

Used it for FSX and now P3D. Does what it says. But can't do miracles.
