Re: Airport Design Editor

Yes, it would be really nice if someone could take over the development of Jon's tools.

I particularly miss the Simple Airport Scanner, which finds duplicate AFCADs.

Re: Airport Design Editor

A quick quote: "the author has decided not to update it" - no, the author has actually retired.

And that was a while ago, the ADE version that supports v. 5 was left in beta.

Re: Restarts and Freezes

Is this behavior only happening with P3D, or does it happen with other applications as well? If it also happens with other applications, then treat it as any other "Windows suddenly restarting" issue, which is outside our scope of support. I do not mean to sound unhelpful, but if you are t...

Re: P3D AND MOTION SYSTEMS

Here's a couple of pointers that may help you out, if you haven't tried them already: https://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv5/prepar3d/getting_help/advanced_configuration.html for v. 5 https://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv6/prepar3d/getting_help/advanced_configuration.html for v. 6 https://simmershome.de/prepare3d-v...

Re: Wembley Stadium - old version in v5. Why?

Yep, towers are there in v. 5 and v. 6.

But I will say that correction of airports probably has a higher priority at L-M than stadiums...

Even worse: San Marino was beating England 7-0!

Fabien,

Since this is ORBX, you might want to ask the question in the ORBX P3D forum here:

Re: Minimum Windows Version Required??

I have also disabled a lot of that c*** that MS shoves upon us, and I can only say that I am very happy with Win10 22H2 as I have it now. It's stable as a rock, and the only times I have issues with P3D have been when the problem sits in the chair at my desk. I am certainly not going to Win 11 excep...

Re: Wembley Stadium - old version in v5. Why?

I have UK2000's EGLL and London City installed. When I remember to do so, I will fly over and take a screenshot of that. I wonder who will be playing?

Re: Minimum Windows Version Required??

I think you might want to take Win 10 to the latest level - 2004 would seem to be even older than 21H2... - if that is possible for you.

Re: Minimum Windows Version Required??

I would tend to believe that your system lives up to the system requirements for v. 6, but just for the h*** of it, what are your system specs? I have v. 5.4 and the latest v. 6 peacefully co-existing on my system, specs in my signature. The Windows build currently is Windows 10 22H2 19045.4291 - I ...

Re: Crashes on startup

Try this: note down the approximate time of a crash. Then right-click on your Windows Start button and select Event Viewer. In Event Viewer, click on the little arrow next to "Windows Logs", then click on "Application". In the topo center pane you will now see a number of events,...
