When flying aircraft with glass displays the shadows darken the screen and make it unreadable. This is not what should be expected. I know we can turn off shadows but will there be a time we can use them together?

Not everyone wishes to use an obsolete operating system even if it does work. Some do not dedicate a complete computer to a flight simulator, and we cannot expect hardware drivers and other programs to remain compatible with Prepar3d as time goes on. I think knowing the answwer may help users (us) t...

I note Windows 7 service pack one support ends in early 2015.
All the Prepare3d documentation refers to it being for Windows 7
Is there a plan for it to be fully supported for Windows 8?

My guess is you need to have a couple more cups of coffee while you are waiting for it to check.
have a fairly fast computer and it took a long time to check. It seems only one core is working and at a very low rate. I think it is probably also accessing all the original files and verifying th...

Thank you.
I installed the patch and for the first time since changing to Prepar3d I do not regret having moved. I moved because I expected better use of newer equipment and in some ways I may have but at the cost of flyability. It was always rough and not real even with lower settings.
...

Do not get me wrong. I know we have potentially a better simulator here.
It was nice though yesterday to have a nice couple of hours of smooth VFR flying with reasonably good scenery without worrying about frame rates and stutters.
Please, please consider the enjoyment of the user and sp...

Should not need to do this.

Many people do have an aircraft for each mission, sometimes with its own livery. They should be able to do this. If they cannot it is a bug, not something to be brushed off with do not use or fake workarounds.

It is a simulator not a toy. It can be used better for some serious simulation projects using 2D panels. Rob says this is nothing to do with LM. I disagree. It is important that LM liase with the makers of aircraft and add ons and if needed control the use of their statements that they are compatibl...

Jaques,

If the Moderators and developers are sick of their CUSTOMERS they should not be here. Customers have a right to support and this is their channel to ask for it as it is the official way to get support for a sold and bought product.

Thanks to both of you.
This confirms what I was thinking though I did not think so much of the aircraft hit. I mostly like GA aircraft at low level and the scenery and terrain do make for a pleasant flight. I have found 15 seems fairly adequate and if I could get that I would be happy. I can o...

Nice so far. It seems to use more than one core more efficiently. Previous versions maxed out on one core.
