Re: Flight Physics

Hi LM, Below is a better description of what is happening and what to fix! Thanks Duncan A known problem in all Microsoft Flight Simulators and Prepar3d is that the time keeps falling behind the Real World time. Also, when crossing Time Zones, the Microsoft Flight Simulators and Prepar3d all change ...

Community Engagement

Hi LM, I want to thank you for engaging with the community and it was good to see Rob McCarthy at Flightsimcon 2017. Rob if you are leading the effort in V4 then great because you have been so positive as has Adam and the rest of the teamin changing the simulation and improving it. But Rob you are g...

Re: Flight Physics

Hi Kayla, When at an East Coast US airport you enter the current time so that it is linked to you system time lets use the example 13.00. I live in the UK so click GMT button which should display current UK time as 18.00 which as the US is 5 hours behind makes sense BUT this does not happen. Also if...

Flight Physics

Hi LM, Good to see so many LM developers active in the forum helping us trainee private pilots. Just a quick question are you planning on updating the flight physics at all for V4. Its great that you are now starting to look at Navdata and other stuff which has bugged early P3D users from the outset...

@maxperry Yes excellent good to hear :) I know you cant give timeframes but it would be nice if it was within V4 lifecycle :)

Re: P3Dv4 Incorrect Data

Hi Max, Good to hear that you will be updating the World Data as it is a bit dissspointing we are still stuck with 2006 old FSX data. Can you update Lima as its no longer SPIM but SPJC thanks:) V4 is good but the data does need to be on par. Even Entertainment licence products have this corrected an...

P3D V4 Flight Dynamics

Hi LM and Poppet, Just asking confirmation if the flight dynamics have been updated and improved in V4. This is the only area that needed drastic improvement and we have heard rumours that the physics (the ground friction bug for example) has been updated. Will this be general or just more options i...

Re: v3.4.18 SLI major issue

Guys, The issue as stated by Beau is on both sides so even if Nvidia fixed what they needed too it is still upto LM to introduce the fix which will solve the whole problem. The issue is most likely still being seen because we don't have the fix from LM side which hopefully will complete the cycle. B...

Hotfix 3?

Hello all, Thank you all for you reports and for being patient with us as we work resolve these issues. I have been personally working with NVIDIA on this, and am happy to report that great progress is being made. We've found and fixed the performance and UI flicking introduced in HF2. Thanks to Nv...

Re: Seperate nosewheel steering control

@Mike Schroeter Given your personal flight dynamics expertise and actually having been a flight instructor yourself could you please add these as separate mechanisms in a future version. Better dynamics to accurately simulate spins and stalls for SEP aircraft would be amazing. One of the main things...

Re: v3.4.18 SLI major issue

Guys please read this article from NVIDIA they no longer want to support SLI

http://www.pcworld.com/article/3082708/ ... cards.html

LM cannot make NVIDIA change something that has already been decided. NVIDIA since the GEforce 10 Graphics cards no longer deem SLI needed.

Maybe we should stop giving LM a hard time.

Blessings
