Scenario duplicated when saving? - v3

Is it just me? When I save a scenario I get two copies of it in the "load scenario" list, one without a title but with an extra full stop (period) on the end of the file name, and one with the scenario title and file name which looks like the correct one. I am currently using 3.4, but I think this h...

P3D v4.1 with Oculus core 2.0

I've been trying this out and was wondering if there are plans for native support in P3D for the new Oculus 2.0 software / dash /desktop integration. So far, I've had a few hangs when loading flights. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be possible to pin pop-up windows. Has anyone been able to do this?

Re: Oculus Rift and Charts

I've been playing with this: http://www.hellov.io/

There are many issues, but you can get web pages up in the VR view with it.

VR unlink cursor from head movement?

Hi, Trying out 4.1 with VR Oculus Rift (which is working great btw), but was wondering if it's possible to stop the cursor moving when I move my head (i.e. for it to move only when I move the mouse)? I realise that VR's work in progress, but are you planning to include a customisable, positionable k...

Re: Saitek Trim Wheel causing need for Hard PC reset

I had the same issue when I upgraded to Win 10, mouse beeping, causing the PC to freeze up so I downgraded back to Win 7. I recently built a new PC and started having the same issues again until I downloaded the appropriate Saitek software and drivers from Saitek. m Make sure to install the softwar...

Re: Be able to adjust the sim center point

I know exactly what you mean, and can understand why you're having trouble describing it. Having just tried to run on a dual monitor setup for the first time, I am also extremely surprised that this doesn't appear to have come up before. I've been searching without any luck, and wanted to bump this ...

Thank you so much for posting this. I started getting the problem again, and found that that pesky 7.0.9.15 had installed itself again. I've tried the beta you suggested, and so far so good...

Re: Saitek Trim Wheel causing need for Hard PC reset

It seems to have picked up the Saitek driver 19/4/2011 - 7.0.9.15 I may have left it in my system from a previous install Pete This is the driver that I uninstalled (making sure I ticked the box to remove it) to make the problem go away for me. I think I also had to roll back at some point because ...

Re: Saitek Trim Wheel causing need for Hard PC reset

I am also seeing the problem with the trim wheel causing the mouse problems / beeping. For me, it only happens quite rarely, and usually the trim wheel is ok. I am using FSUIPC for all my controllers. I recently went to from WIn7 to Win10 as well as going from P3Dv2 to v3, and I've been having issu...

Do you have tesselation turned off? I always have it turned on - but turned it off for testing the other day, and saw similar behaviour.

I tried at 30 Hz, and it works in that P3D syncs and runs at 30Hz, but for some reason I then get stutters. I do have a 2nd monitor, which won't go below 60 Hz so this could have something to do with it.

However, after more time examining this, I notice that am getting (very occasional)...

Agreed. I run at unlimited fps, vsync on and triple buffering on. As long as the system can maintain 60 fps (my screen's native refresh), then the sim remains perfectly fluid. This is the only way I've ever been able to completely eliminate stutters. Unfortunately, for me to consistently get 60 fps ...
