For this last issue, press "Q" key to disable the sound and again "Q" to enable it solved the problem for me (but I changed the priority "only" to high).

Same here.

testing my R9280X 3Gbytes I see (by GPUz Sensors) a maximum memory usage of 1.3 Gb.

Is it normal? Does exists any prepar3d.cfg parameter to control this behaviour?

hello,
yesterday, performing a flight with bad weather (thunderstorm, rain and marginal VFR visibility) from EICA to EISG I had a P3D crash.
Initially i blamed an unlikely GPU overload (AMD R9280X) maybe too much textures (REX 4096) or some other instant problem.
I tried reloading ...

Same here with an AMD R9280X.

Cloud shadows are really beautiful, but it seems to me they generate stutters; light stutters with fine weather, heavy stutters when the clouds are over 4/8.

Maybe some "youth behaviour" to be improved/fixed.

I made some tests and have the same issue.
Either the POP_FREE_AUTOGEN=1 parameter is now ignored, or somewhat was definitely broken.
Flying "slow" with the default Maule, and climbing to 5-6000 feet, is it possible to clearly see the autogen popping when entering in a "circle" of very f...

Did you modify settings?

As by default LOD_Radius start at 3.5, quite low.

Don't know if it affect mountains rendering, but it's worth of a 1 minute check.
