Re: WIN10 Upgrade Crash points to MS.NET Framework 4

After sleeping on it an more research I found appdata can be "unhidden" and my roaming data available with an obscure command prompt "attrib -s -h C:Users/Owner/AppData" . . I'm sure there must be simpler ways but now at least I can begin reconstructing my Sim configuration. . . ...

Thanks for all you efforts and explanations . . . 7 hours!!! On the phone with Microsoft ... 5 techies....4 disconnects and numerous restarts.... We solved panavia.dll issue. It works and P3D launches normally. . .no crash. The simple issue was finally identified as a corrupt "user admin" ...

Re: WIN10 Upgrade Crash points to MS.NET Framework 4

Yes it's a clean install of P3D on a 256Gig SSM in C:\Program Files (x86). Yes they have their own 3.3.5 install upgrade with some patches all of which have been installed multiple time in the correct order even verifying with another user which files are actually installed after each upgrade says &...

WIN10 Upgrade Crash points to MS.NET Framework 4

I recently took the plunge and upgraded my SIM to WIN 10 . . . what a nightmare. That's another story! Ultimately I wiped the SSM C drive, installed WIN10 and then P3D + scenery REX4 ORBX etc. piece at a time. . . But . . When I try to include a panavia.dll in the dll.xml I get an immediate P3D cras...
