Re: Perfectly reproducible CTD

It seems that I cannot edit the title... and not mark it as "resolved". Could an admin be so kind to do that? Thank you!

Re: Perfectly reproducible CTD

Did some testing, which took quite some time.

Anyway... did the flight yesterday, without any problems.
I am glad that it works now, on the other hand I do not really know what has caused the issue or how it was resolved.
Maybe some update, somewhere...

Thanks to all who tried to help!

Re: Perfectly reproducible CTD

Couldn't agree with you more! But finding the culprit ain't no easy task! ;)
I was hoping maybe someone could lead me in the right direction.

Perfectly reproducible CTD [RESOLVED]

Hello everyone, I am currently having a very annoying problem with Prepar3Dv5, newest hotfix. I want to do a flight for my virtual airline, starting at LGKO in the FSLabs A321. I do all my preparations and shortly after takeoff I run into a CTD with the faulting module being clr.dll . One time it wa...

Multiplayer CTD kernelbase.dll

Hello! Since updating to the newest 3.4 hotfix I am encountering weird CTD's, but only when in Multiplayer (kernelbase.dll). I already tried the usual suspects. I disabled all addons, I reinstalled Prepar3d completely. Nothing seems to help. I can fly without any hassle in singleplayer but as soon a...

Re: P3Dv3 CTD Event 1000 MSVCR120.dll

I just think that everyone having these problems is quite desperate and we are letting everyone know what we did to make the problem go away.
The support coming from LM and PMDG is rather disappointing so far...
A solution is yet to be found.

Re: P3Dv3 CTD Event 1000 MSVCR120.dll

Another update.
I was able to complete my test flight. I didn't touch the PFD or the ND at all.
So I assume this did the trick.
Let's hope LM and PMDG address these issues asap so that we can all enjoy our sims as they were meant to be.

Re: P3Dv3 CTD Event 1000 MSVCR120.dll

Update: I just completed my infamous test flight. Unfortunately I couldn't complete it. But I did see an improvement: I turned HT off in the BIOS and saw the following changes: The sim performed better, more fps, more smooth but that's just my impression. No benchmarks done. I was able to get way pa...

Re: P3Dv3 CTD Event 1000 MSVCR120.dll

Okay first of all many thanks for the replies! Could we have something going here? I hope. Would be great if everybody here could post if turning off HT and leaving all AM tweaks out of the cfg helped. I myself will be able to test Thursday the earliest. I'll keep you posted! Oh and btw: Could someo...

Hmmm... this thread has become awfully quiet.
Have you all given up or have you found a solution?
If it's the latter please share it with us. ;)

Re: P3Dv3 CTD Event 1000 MSVCR120.dll

I encountered it several times with the 777 now. Had a ctd event with the 737 too but not exactly the same error message.

Re: OOM, VAS, FPS or problems I thought were gone

What I wanted to add is that regarding the statement that the error cannot be reproduced I have to disagree. At least on my system I can count on it to surface. I don't know if it is 3 or 5 hours into the flight but it will happen. Flight goes from one addon airport to the other (FlyTampa LOWW to FS...

Re: P3Dv3 CTD Event 1000 MSVCR120.dll

Any news?
I did a full reinstall of Prepar3Dv3.1, all addons including the PMDG 777 and the error didn't go away... About 6 to 7 hours into the longhaul I am getting a crash to desktop because of this.
