Re: need help taking screen shots

OK, a friend got me straightened out with the Windows and PrtScr keys and we were able to change the default save file as a jpj and all my saved screen shots using that method have changed to jpg and that now works. So we can close this thread now. Thanks

Re: need help taking screen shots

Sorry, Guys. I was looking in the wrong location for the saved screen shots in P3D. My V key does in fact work and I can now locate the saved screen shots. Still trying to figure out how to change the default file from a png to a jpg for all other work using the Windows and PrtScr keys but that is n...

Re: need help taking screen shots

Maybe someone at LM can tell me if the V key still takes screen shots in P3Dv4.5?
Thanks

Re: need help taking screen shots

Brady,
Yes, that is there and the screen shots are there as taken using the Windows and Prt Scr keys, but they are all saved as png file types. I am trying to save them as jpg types.

Re: need help taking screen shots

I just push it but the screen does not dim like it does with the Windows key and I can not find any saved screen shot anywhere on my computer. Where could it be putting the screen shot if in fact it is working?
Thanks

[RESOLVED] need help taking screen shots

I am running V4.5 and the V key no longer will take a screen shot. It was working in my earlier version. I checked the options/key assignment and V is assigned to take a screen shot, but it does nothing. Trying to use the Windows 10 Windows and Prt Scr does it, but will not save it as a jpg file, on...

Re: Hot Fix still needed?

Well I spent several hours trying to get the update to work and gave up, deleted everything and downloaded a complete new program and installed it. I could not figure out what I had done wrong, but the new complete version 4.5 is working.
Thanks

Re: Hot Fix still needed?

More info-not only can't I find the hot fix, but after installing the new client update, P3D will not start. When the configuration start page comes up, the map and location and name of the airport is there, but there are no airplane pictures in the Select or Change Vehicle window. If I click on sta...

Re: Hot Fix still needed?

Thanks for the reply, but I can not find the hot fix download. I have gone to the link you provided, and signed in to my downloads page, etc, but there is no Hot Fix to download. There is a complete new download for the entire program, and the separate links for the client, etc. I have installed the...

Hot Fix still needed?

I just upgraded to version 4.5 and can not find the hot fix. Do I still actually need this now for new downloads? I just did the update for the client file.
Thanks

Re: Helicopter Cyclic Trim

Hi Mickey,
Thanks for the link to Komodosim. They are obviously very fine products, but beyond what I want to spend for just occasional use. I will keep looking for a less expensive setup.
Thanks.

Re: Helicopter Cyclic Trim

Slightly off topic, but since you guys are flying Helicopters , what are you using for controllers? I would like to try them flying them, but I can't seem to find specific controllers for sale. I have the CH Products yoke, throttle quadrant, and rudder pedals with toe brakes. I also have a Logitech ...

Re: Screen Shot with V key?

Thanks for the reply. My settings in the options are correct. I just forgot where the screen shot were saved. The shots taken using the V key are where you said they would be. The shots taken using the Windows and PrtScr keys are saved in different location.
Thanks.
