Hey all,

I would like to get less zoom (further out) than the .30 limit without using wide aspect setting. Can I alter the aircraft .cfg file somehow to achieve this? This is in VC and using EZdok. P3d v4

This update seems to have worked with most AC. Default AC and PMDG are working. A2A C172 trainer is still demonstrating the 'locked' steering problems.

Thank you sir. I will re-install 4.2 and try again with this in mind. I do have EZ-Dok installed and did not mention this. I will post an update after test.

An observation: After updating to 4.2, all rudder inputs do not steer AC on the ground. The input is recognized in SPAD.Next as well as animated within all AC, however, there is no 'steering' effect on the ground. Hey all, Just installed a fresh version of P3D v4 on a fresh hard drive with no addons. Using Windows 10 64bit, GTX 780 Ti. the AC on taxi's and runways acts as if I am 'off road' and not on concrete. All else seems fine. This is with default planes and have tried several airfields. Just want to upgrade client as per the PDF manual, however, client installer msg's 'another version of this product is already installed' and tells you to uninstall first. I didn't want to uninstall 3.0, just upgrade.

Any ideas?

try deleting the /username/AppData/Local/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3Dv2/Shaders directory

That's one of the first things I do before with that issue

From my understanding the WideAspectView has 'everything' to do with the peripheral distortion. Turn it off and you will not have the distortion, however, you are then limited to the FOV within your configruations
