UPDATE! And I realize the devs and more importantly the marketing dept. doesn't want to hear this... your stutters are mostly coming from using AMD/ATI cards. Use NVIDIA GTX 570 or 580. Higher than that, and you run into ram issues. Those two cards have the smoothest results possible.

Or, hey, pay attention? We've all seen the spam, and nothing's been done... it doesn't take much for a moderator or admin to just delete a post and ban the poster. Not much at all.

Moving to OpenGL really doesn't fit a few of their purposes, and it's also, simply, too hard. Correct me if I'm wrong.

<t>The fact that an upgrade to the OS or hardware apparently means you're supposed to buy the thing again is a perfectly rational reason to be angry, and I'm pretty sure some of you guys are entirely too used to the aviation industry, where everything has a 500% markup for the purpose of ... you'll ...

<t>The "Stutters" that we're all seeing, that oddly the devs often do not see, are indeed called stutters. We've spend decades looking at framerates, and the framerates of P3D are just fine. What we now need to look at, is the time each frame takes to be drawn. Ideally, 1/16th of a second per frame ...

This is how you work with broken software ... There are ways to manage to convince the thing to put screens where you ask them to be. It's just finicky and difficult.

I still think it's a little messed up to use the 1.x buyers as test subjects, while still charging, and then charge AGAIN for 2.x. I get that's how a huge corporate entity works, but it's just wrong. A beta-test is generally a Free thing, where the users are valued.

Come on LM ... did you stop funding Prepar3D? That's fine, just open-source it and the community will do the work. Right now, the forum is a mess of complaints going unanswered, or called "resolved," when the answer is "broken," and spam.

<t>So, for all intents and purposes, the problem is nowhere near solved, nor is Multiplayer usable in many configurations. This needs to be fixed, on the code end. A product billed as being professional, and with such a cost attached to it, should be able to get this done without waiting until 2.x j...
