Re: Abnormal Airplane External Visuals P3D V4.3

Hi Rob, Thanks for the reply. I’m seeing it on the initial load screen where the airplanes rotate after you load them, and when pressing the “S” key to look at the external models. I initially thought is was the FSLA320X, and I posted it on their forum; but I later discovered it was with all the mod...

Abnormal Airplane External Visuals P3D V4.3

Hey, anyone has ever seen textures not loading correctly when looking at the airplanes from the external view? I’m having issues where all airplanes in the external visual model have parts missing, or sections of the fuselages are transparent. It looks like is in random areas too, or differs between...

Re: P3Dv4.2 VR Single Pass Rendering Mode Issue

Man I always knew I get special issues with my computer. Well, I had a chance to toy with the VR settings, and I’m getting the visual issues in stereo mode, not in single pass rendering mode! The carriers look good in single pass rendering mode, but as soon as I change to stereo, I get the visual is...

Yeah Kevin! Please shoot us a hotfix for this. It totally sucks to fly without VR man! :-)

Re: P3Dv4.2 VR Single Pass Rendering Mode Issue

Hey Guys! Add me to this post as well. I’m having the same issue in VR with the Oculus. I finally got the Superbug to work right using native VR with P3D V4.2. I am now getting weird visuals when approaching and landing on the carriers. When I’m on the overhead at 800 feet, I can see the support str...

Re: Oculus Rift Visual Jerky

I gotta play with it some more when I get back home. I have Orbx Vector, several of their regions, and North America LC, and Active Sky V4. I've been flying the PMDG 747, 777, and the 737. So far the best frame rates is with the 777.

Re: Oculus Rift Visual Jerky

Good stuff! Thanks for the info. I seem to be having way better performance with FlyInside from version 3.4. I cannot fly in native VR. The visual is way too jerky, especially on the left eye of the Rift. I am getting an occasional flash here and there with really good frame rates. Are you getting t...

Re: Oculus Rift Visual Jerky

Hello, We'll open up a ticket to address the jerky visuals in VR. Any additional information about your setup that illuminates these issues would be extremely helpful for us. Pertaining the VR menu not being visible, I've addressed that in the thread below: www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=63...

Re: Oculus Rift Visual Jerky

Hi, I don't think flyinside could change anything to P3D's performances. Your experience in Rift is jerky because your settings, that may work great with a screen, now gives bad fps in the rift. (you need more than 45 fps to have 90 in the Rift with ASW on, and for really best experience you need 9...

Re: Oculus Rift Visual Jerky

How are you running it? Can you please share your display settings here? I can't get it to work right. Are you getting smooth performance? Thanks I have an i7-7700k, Nvidia 1080ti and performance is atrocious and I almost get a headache from playing it. It's probably worse now than it was before. Y...

Re: Oculus Rift Visual Jerky

Oh, okay Jay. Thanks man! Yeah, I hope the FlyInside guys can figure it out! If I find a workaround, I'll post it here.

Oculus Rift Visual Jerky

Hello Peeps!

I just installed version 4.1 and I'm still seeing jerky visuals in VR, especially on the left eye. Was having the same thing going on in version 4.0. I was hoping it was addressed in 4.1. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks

<t>I ended up moving the .cfg file to the P3D directory and all the Orbx stuff installed without any issues, but then P3D gave me a compatibility error when I started it, and it CTDed. I ended up removing and reinstalling P3D and removed all the Orbx stuff. Now I'm just running P3D alone and man, wh...
