North East China on short finals!

Gibson Sceneries and TerraColor have teamed up and are on "short finals" to release the first of a World 15m En-Route Dual Scenery Series for North Eastern China. A huge area from just north of Shanghai to just over the Russian border. An area approximately 40% the landmass of the Contiguous USA. Th...

Re: 15m Sat imagery for realistic water

At altitude, I prefer the water setting to minimum as it gives a more natural appearance, especially in rivers. Following are a few screenshots of the water masking over sat imagery as against default water. Water settings are to the lowest setting. A blend Mask is set further off the coast to blend...

15m Sat imagery for realistic water

The following few screenshots show how 15m imagery (Terracolor) can be used under a water mask to give a more (actually "real") realistic water look.

Re: NT Australia 15m Imagery LOD 11 over ORBX AUv2

Very impressive Norman, Great integration of the packages. Looks great at very high level and the transitions are very good. I presume that clouds below and ground shadows work? I have your NSW version 1 where I struggled with the visual transition from a high level flight into Sydney or WLM. I ult...

Re: Black Screen of Death

I have had this previously. My fix was to delete my Prpear3d.cfg file (back it up firstly) and start the sim and let the cfg file rebuild. I then leave the default F-22 flight in the cfg file. From then on I start the sim to the Scenario Screen and select one of my saved flights which I saved with a...

Re: Prepar3d v4.5 and 3 monitors

I have three 27in monitors. I found Viewgroup by accident. All I did was right mouse click on the screen when in flight and select View Group Menu\Span all screens and the view is spread over my three monitors nicely. Try this first. If not try the other suggestions.

Cheers,

gibo.

NT Australia 15m Imagery LOD 11 over ORBX AUv2

I am resampling TerraColor NextGen 15m Imagery of the Northern Territory of Australia to create a Version 2 of my previously released scenery. This will be a free upgrade to those that have purchased Version 1. There will be two options as was the case with China Hong Kong to Beijing, one with full ...

How to get past the 6% Load Time

Prepar3d v4.5 loads within a few minutes for my system. Myself like others have most probably many different add-on sceneries that take up huge amounts of disk space. I have many Megascenery Earth regions, together with ORBX Landclass and True Earth Regions not to mention others. First of all I will...

Re: v4.5 HF1 strange mouse behaviour

I had same issue. To fix i deleted my prepar3d.cfg file and let it rebuild. At the startup menu select prepar3d default flight and all became good without the mouse and menu issue.

I then created my own default flight.

A2a PA-28, MSE NSW Prepar3d v4.5H/F

A test flight following the recent Hot Fix. I have three x 27in monitors running which in sim give a view from rear LHS wing tip to rear RHS wing tip. I have tried to keep this view as much as possible in the video which only records the centre monitor, thus the view panning. fps with three monitors...
