Re: UTC Time Bug

I am getting these from my start up screen, you have to press UTC and I am in the UK so at present 13.49 here press UTC and it becomes 20.49 in San Fran. Sorry my time on the previous was a few minutes out because I was pulling up my screen and not attention to detail. Hoping I could screen shot it....

UTC Time Bug

Hi LM, I hope you are well, I am running the latest version of V5 with HF2 and ever since V5 release I have noticed a bug with time zones in the start up screen. When going to the the time screen on the startup page and selecting UTC time the time zones after resetting to my system (local time in th...

Re: Ground surface friction

Simbol, Thank you for taking the time to explain, maybe a feature should be then to get LM to restrict developers to only use the PDK so they cannot keep developing for FSX which is an entertainment product. Developers have been lazy and not all have fully explored the P3D V4 PDK which as you have e...

Re: Ground surface friction

The original default values contained in SIM1.DLL are the issue, I have done a lot of research on friction coefficients and posted my findings on fsdev. The bottom line here is that using the default rolling friction sim value for concrete causes other values within the airfile to become skewed. Al...

Re: Flight Model and effects on airframe

A picture or in this case a video paints 1000 words. This is part of what I was trying to articulate regarding flight modelling. Please see the video from 11.30 to 16.00 I must stress I am only interested in the flight model not the other things raised by the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WC...

Flight Model and effects on airframe

Hi LM, I wondered if you had any plans to improve the flight modelling of prop and jet simulations with Prepar3d? Can you at least allow proper spin and stall flight modelling, this Is part of the UK and US PPL flight syllabus to be able to handle a stall correctly as well as be able to recover from...

Ground Friction Bug

Hi LM, Not sure where to put this topic, but ever since FSX right through to P3D V4.5 the ground handling has been awful and totally unrealistic, allow me to explain the issue. The taxi thrust needed for any airplane is too much, it feels like I am taxiing on grass! The plane is trying to escape tar...

Re: Ground surface friction

@adambreed
@robmcarthy

Please please consider this, even if you alter the PDK to allow developers to better model ground handling!

Blessings

Sloped Runway and AI usage

Hi LM, It was great to read the recent interview with Adam Breed in FSELITE last week. Adam mentioned about features and improving realism. One area would be a quick win and could be incorporated in a minor version bit like PBR and Overhauling Night Lighting, Adding New Buildings etc.. would be to a...

Re: 4.5 update no ATC/AI updates this time either :(

Hi Rob, Thanks for your response to someone in the community. I would add though PBR was quite a major move for a point release and well received and well done by you. Also there is X Plane an entertainment relase which for point releases makes quite major changes i.e Flight Dynamic changes and for ...

Some Prepar3d notes about the platform improvements and fixes

Hi LM, Just a few notes and observations regarding V4.3 I have and still enjoy using P3D, it lifted the simulation platform to new heights, with DX11 and 64 bit. But unfortunately progression has been very slow. And evidently it appears that LM are placing the task of expanding and innovating the pl...
