Re: RIFT S question

Ok, I’ll reply to my own question - now that I have one.. It works just fine! Colours more vibrant, fr just as smooth. Clarity noticeably better. Much clearer instrument panels. No screen-door. The headset is more comfortable. The sound is not as good - but adequate. Tracking impressive. Slight blur...

[RESOLVED] RIFT S question

I currently use the RIFT CV1 with P3D and I think it is fantastic. Thank you.
Do you envisage the RIFT S having any compatibility issues?
Thanks..

Re: V4.4 Autogen Loading Times are horrendous!

Thanks for the reply Beau,

After literally days looking into this, the problem is with ALL Drzewiecki scenery, in particular the City versions.
I also found that UK2000 has problems here..
With this scenery deactivated the load is normal time.
Hope this helps others..
Peter.

[RESOLVED] V4.4 Autogen Loading Times are horrendous (Drzewiecki scenery)

I hope someone can help here because I am totally stumped! Since updating to V4.4 I am finding that the autogen loading time is huge - much longer than 4.3. I have two systems running both with 4.4 and they both have the same problem. They are fast PC’s and although I gave a lot of add-ones (ORBX et...

Re: P3Dv4.2 VR Single Pass Rendering Mode Issue

Here is a video of my issue using P3DV4.
This is of the newly-released Fly Tampa Boston. The issue is obviously related to the direction that you are loooking, to a very fine degree..
I hope this helps..

Re: P3Dv4.2 VR Single Pass Rendering Mode Issue

Hi Kayla, I have done some further investigation and the issue seems to be limited to add-on airport scenery, but not including default, as I said earlier. Sorry... I have the issue with the majority of my recent add-ons which are mainly V4-specific. Some airports seem worse than others, but the fla...

Re: P3Dv4.2 VR Single Pass Rendering Mode Issue

Just FYI, I have these artifacts as well. They are large and occur every few seconds. I am using GTX 1080Ti and 6700 processor with 32Gb RAM.
They occur even at the lowest graphics settings, and in default areas.
Apart from that, Single-pass is great!

ViewGroups different in P3DV4?

I have a three projector setup using ViewGroups and Immersive Calibration and Display Pro software to warp my P3D cockpit view onto a 180-degree screen. It works on P3DV3.4 - the warp is perfect. But on V4.0 the warp has noticeable differences where the screens overlap. This is with basic P3D setup ...

Re: daytime approach and runway lights

Rolling back drivers didn't work for me. I have two sets of P3d instances running on two different Pcs and it us the same on both. I had this problem a year or so ago and a driver rollback did fix it, but not this time..

daytime approach and runway lights

I hope that I am not repeating others here - I couldn't find a specific topic to cover it.. I have no runway or approach lights in daytime in P3D v3.1. I have latest NVIDIA graphic drivers and have done a clean install with them. Can anyone shed (literally) any light on this please? Thanks in advanc...

Thanks Jim

It looks as though I have things set up correctly after all, but not all aircraft have 2d panels (even the default ones) which surprises me - it all seems rather inconsistent - but thanks very much for your help on this.
