Re: Thank You LM-Team

I second the effort. For all the moaning and groaning I am amazed that you folks at LM even try to help. Thanks for your efforts.

Re: Starting Oculus Rift crashes P3Dv4.5

I can add my name to the kernalbase.dll crash upon attempting to activate the Oculus Rift. Worked fine in P3D4.4. I upgraded to 4.5 client and content. Am running the latest Nvidia drivers. Deleted prepared.cfg with no change. The Oculus Rift works in 4.5 if I use the SteamVR interface to run VR. I ...

Re: Helicopter Cyclic Trim

Helicopters in P3D are unflyable.....really. I don't agree. I fly helicopters in P3D all the time and have no problems making them work. I have effective trim function using FSUIPC. If you review page 46 of the FSUIPC Advanced User Guide you will see how to setup helicopter trim functions. Regards, ...

Re: Helicopter Cyclic Trim

If you were to obtain FSUIPC, third party program, it allows one to control the rotor disc angle to simulate helicopter trim. I fly sim helos almost exclusively and FSUIPC provides a significant improvement for helicopter simulation.

Re: Re install to SSD

I cloned my copy from an HDD to an SSD with no problem. You do have to change the SSD drive letter to the same letter as was used with the HDD after the cloning is finished.

Re: Helicopter Autopilot issues

I fly several different brands of helicopters (Milviz, Cerasim, Alabeo, etc.) and they all have the oscillation issue when the AP is engaged. The oscillation can be minimized by increasing the yaw_damper_gain value in the aircraft.cfg autopilot section to around 150.

Re: Helicopter Autopilot issues

I can confirm the oscillations using the Autopilot in a helicopters in V4.4. I use the AP in the Milvis B407 and get the oscillations much the same as when used in V4.3.

Re: P3DV4.3 - Not syncing/using system time

Well, it appears to be working now. I am not certain why it didn't work the other day.

Thanks for the response.

[RESOLVED] P3DV4.3 - Not syncing/using system time

I can't get P3D to use the current system time. When I am in a flight the time used by the sim is the time the flight starts and doesn't update as the flight goes along. When I attempt to have the sim adjust to the current system time, the sim doesn't make the adjustment. I do have "use system time"...

Bridges in Odd places - Yukon River area

I have noticed some sections of bridges/roads in odd areas in the Yukon area of Alaska. http://i1258.photobucket.com/albums/ii535/RCFlyer51/2018-9-14_9-59-33-620.jpg This one in the pictures is one of several along this river. The location is on the river south of Coal Creek, L20. If you follow the ...

CEX4 in wrong location

CEX4, Carmacks Airport is in the wrong location. You have it located on the north side of the road and high tension lines. It should be on the south side of the road. In its present location the high tension lines run across the approach from the east, and, the airport is on the side of a ridge. Pla...

Re: VR V4.3 - Using Voice Controls

The voice control component is a great addition. I have used Voice Attack for sometime to get voice control into the P3D cockpit. Now that P3D has native voice control I have one less program to run.

Please continue to expand the voice control capabilities.

Re: 4.3 VR: Save Instrument Panel Location & Double Dots

Thanks Kayla for your reply. I use the Oculus Rift HMD. The double dot only occurs if I am attempting to focus on something closer rather than farther. If the dot is projected into both lenses I would expect the problem is I am trying to focus on something that is inside the focal point of the to le...
