Re: I have a strange behavior of Target frame rate on P3d 4.4
Sorry but I disagree with that article. 30FPS certainly does not look smooth enough for me, especially when planning around the cockpit as is done lots during normal operations.

Re: P3D 4.3 Gsync
If you’re saying that having G-Sync enabled is causing black screen flashing then it’s likely this is a driver issue as the recent Nvidia drives have this issue when multiple displays are connected. Have you got more than one display connected? If so is this display a non g-sync display? See this th...

Re: V4.4 black screen after scenario start
I’ve observed this too after deleting generate shaders. The seem to take a significantly longer time to generate than they used to in 4.3.
Nitro, how long have you waited at the black screen? Give it at least 5 minutes and see if it’s just excessively slow rather than not working at all.

Re: Transferring scenery.cfg from P3D V3 to P3d V4
Elaine, This is not what I mean. I have all those scenery-entries in a different location then P3D-root. I am using Scenery Config Editor for adding and above all dividing them into groups. Most of those add-ons are freeware, they come without installer. Now I am looking for a method (as P3D V4 its...

Re: v4 Install of Addons Outside of Sim Install Location?
Hey Kevin, Have you seen these docs: http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/add-ons/add-on_configuration_files.html http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/add-ons/add-on_instructions_for_developers.html Hopefully they help. P.S @LM - I really wish the SDK docs didn't use frames for the navigation. Really make...

Re: shimmering and flickering
Most of the visual anomolies mentioned are common occurances. There is nothing wrong with your sim specifically. Flickering clouds intersecting with mountains has long been a problem. It's a common z-fighting issue. Moving cloud shadows when panning/looking around is a result of the clouds being 2d ...

I've seen this problem before, I can't remember the exact solution though.
Are you using NVIDIA Inspector? If so try restoring your NVIDIA Inspector P3D profile to stock settings.

Are you overclocking any of your hardware? If so maybe you've pushed it too far? Have you stress tested it?
Have you run a memtest to check your RAM is functioning correctly?

Rebuild shaders on key binding
Hi, As you may or may not be aware shader modifications have become quite popular. In particular, Prepar3d tweak assistant is very popular as it allows all sorts of shader parameters to be adjusted. However, the main drawback of using tools like this is the need to constantly reboot the entire simul...
