Not sure why, I've not been able to find anything conclusive, but what was working in V5.4 does not work fully in V6 (current release). I have two RTT - one for a wide field of view, the other a narrow field of view. Individually these work fine, but if you select one or other, you can see the other...

Just a guess but might need to delete the shader cache and let P3D rebuild it. Takes a little while the first time you start a flight, but could be worth doing.

Aside from the dusk/dawn issue, my issue was resolved in the second to last P3D V6 update. I am the Developer in my case!

Hi Beau, Thanks for your kind reply. I tried your suggestion and it produces some results, although in the case of things like mirrors and in my case downward looking optical viewsight, I can't really put a dark background since the view is an outside view facing down, so no blending required - but ...

Hi Rob, This camera is set up so that it is applied to a texture map in the virtual cockpit, I don't use a camera configuration file - only the cfg posted in above that is in the aircraft.cfg the title, in this case 'narrow' is directly referenced in the gauge xml. I will try changing the zoom value...

In P3D V5.4 backwards, I could render a camera to texture eg. for mirrors. In P3D V6.1, this no longer works. You could create a new camera in the aircraft.cfg and specify all of those factors plus many more, then select in in the views menu in P3D. I use a Quest 2 with no issues.
My specs are:
Windows 10 i9 10900 CPU, RTX 3080 10 VRAM, 48Gb RAM. ASUS 490 GAMING X
Works well for me with no errors.
HMD display mode stereo, single view on screen. I turn off ASW using the Oculus Debug tool.
Oculus settings 90Mhz and 5152x2608 pixels (1.4x)

No idea why, but my screenshots no longer show on the forum, but if you right click the broken link icon and copy the url and paste to a new browser window you can see what I mean.
