Re: What edition do I buy?
Lol, without starting a war of sims and speaking as somebody who has 20k worth of home cockpit hardware currently tied to P3D my take....- p3d simulator physics are still based on old FSX data tables which have plenty of legacy errors from the year 2006! Whilst I agree that MSFS seems more game than...

Re: Five months since HF2. Will there be 5.4?
Yes an update from the LM team about P3d v5 and beyond would be welcome, irrespective of the battle of the sims, one area where Microsoft have clearly improved and won is communicating with their customer base. There are still plenty of us who have thousands invested in hardware (home cockpits) whic...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Or perhaps with what is happening in Ukraine, the importance of a flight sim pales into insignificance

EA and local weather area depiction v5.xx
So it seems from the .3 changelog we are still waiting for local weather area depiction with volumetric clouds? Is there any hope this will be implemented or shall we just accept that global repeating weather rendition to the horizon is here to stay with the new enhanced atmospherics?

Re: POSKY 777 not showing
It is compatible, as long as you are using the FSX model. There is a new version of the model here-

Re: Using the truesky SDK in P3d 5.1
Thanks for the response, sad that we are left with an evolutionary update which is locked to a pre determined state. Sometimes EA looks ok, but there are some serious issues also, please reconsider allowing the community to do great things with the simul SDK to allow LM to concentrate on the platform.

Using the truesky SDK in P3d 5.1
I want to change the graphics of some of the weather depictions. If I purchase the Simul treuSKY SDK does p3d allow changes to be made to the trueSKY shaders or are these locked? It seems to be a cut back implementation of trueSKY in 5.1 from what I have observed so far and some of the atmospherics ...

Re: Nvidia GTX TITAN X stoped DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE-HUNG
Install HW monitor start logging and watch your voltages. I used to get this issue on a 1080ti and for me it turned out the 12v rail was dipping in voltage. Buying a gold PSU which gives a solid V solved the issue for me. PSUs are often overlooked and even when you think you have a really good one (...

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE-HUNG error - P3D v5
I used to get these errors on v4. In the end after extensive testing I was watching HW monitor and noticed the error coincided with a drop in v on my 12V bus. I thought I had a decent enough PSU (750w generic) but started to suspect this was the cuplrit. I splashed out on a corsair 850w gold PSU and...
