This has been with me for the last few years. Has anyone ever found the cause or a cure?

Same red color here at dusk and dawn. This was with all versions of P3Dv6.

Confirm. For normal airport design (not talking about sloped runways here) ADE does a perfectly fine job.

All objects with attached lighting effects are affected by this change, so this is more than just a modification of airports.
I really hope that LM reverse this with the next update.

It seems obvious that this should be fixed by LM at the core. Would you expect that if LM reverts the dusk/dawn behavior these added lines will cause any issue?

And do you know what effects are used for the runway lighting seen from top down?

Setup: After removal of all P3D related %appdata%, %programdata% and documents add-ons, fresh install of P3Dv3, PP3Dv4, P3Dv5 & P3Dv6. Adding my airfield to all installations. Starting on the runway, go to spot view and look into the autogen trees beside the airbase. This is how it looks in P3Dv...
