Re: Airport is in a hollow that is surrounded by mountains

The vector altitude is off.
Are you using any scenery packs like ORBX?

Re: V4.4 window behaviour after menu update

No third party software, however I use Immersive display pro to warp the screens, but it was not running in this case. I have noticed that not all menu options reset the state of the P3d window, seems to be only the ones that change the state of the simulation. I can do further testing to see which ...

V4.4 window behaviour after menu update

Has anyone seen this behaviour where the window size and position changes after a menu update? It looks like V4 resets its state after the button is clicked rather than returning to its last state . Is there anyway to change this behaviour as V3 did not exhibit this? https://youtu.be/RYryZsSqz0E For...

Did you clear the shaders after you put the new card in?

Re: Flap indicator

You probably would need to write your own interface software using Simconnect or FSUIPC. Someone has had a go at using the LUA functionality in FUSIPC over at the FSUIPC forum. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/80616-lua-script-for-pololu-maestro-servo-card/ If anything it is a place to start.

Re: Moving popup panels to 2nd display crashes P3D

There is more that enough posts here on the forums to show that onboard graphics don't play nice with P3D.
Disable your onboard graphics and move the 2nd monitor to one of the other ports on the GTX 980.

Re: my 3rd display won't connect

You don't say which brand of video card you have and just because it has multiple ports does not mean that they all output individually. In some cases if you use the hdmi port the dvi or the display port will switch off. So either your version of the card cant handle 3 monitors or you have a cable p...

Re: Sudden thrust BUG – from stopped to barely moving

"Nope not a default aircraft." I looked at the link you provided. This is a freeware aircraft for FSX that you are using to test this problem .. correct? Not testing per se, just happened to notice the aircraft exhibiting similar behavior to posted issue. I found it rather odd as I have n...

Re: Sudden thrust BUG – from stopped to barely moving

I would like to test this. Which default aircraft and default airport/location showed this problem? Nope not a default aircraft. I am using this one https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/15765/fsx-fly-synthesis-texan-club-550-lsa/ With ORBX Australia SP4, Pilots MESH 2010, Australia Holgerm...

Re: Sudden thrust BUG – from stopped to barely moving

I seeing this now as well. I have a new p3d installation and the aircraft that I am using won't even move at full throttle on grass. Once its moving (using slew to get it going) its OK, but that initial movement from a dead stop just doesn't happen. I have fiddled with he propeller configs and manag...

This might help. The process is the same for p3d if you have fsuipc.

Looking that video I think your trust bug is called the brakes. Recheck all your control assignments to make sure nothing is doubled up. Are you using FSUIPC?

In most aircraft that is by design. Press the toe brakes and the park brake releases.

Do you know about the windowmaker excel spreadsheet?
http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=23199
I use it to work out FOV (3*1920*1080 projectors on a 220 deg screen and 3 windows) vs Zoom.
