Just for testing I reverted to 5.2HF1 client (with new prepar3d.cfg of course) and the problem doesn't occur, it remains fluid. I did the same here and it didn’t solve it (I did not, however, delete any generated files). Stutters occur during pre-flight after 30mins in the sim. Road lights/traffic ...

The issue is prominent when VC Mipmaps are selected to OFF, Enhanced Atmosphere selected OFF and the D3D sample is used under load (easy to reproduce whilst stressing the CPU/GPU with HeavyLoad as described above). I've read here that the HF2 release is imminent and yet there has been no word from anyone at LM on this issue.
It will be disappointing to see this issue remain in HF2 having provided very simple steps to reproduce.

If it helps - you can have any number of RTT’s; they will all flicker at the same time.

Hello, If you follow the D3D12Texture SDK example, and place the CursorTexture over the Mooney MFD (as per the example instructions) - the entire VC texture object area flickers. Hi Rob, We're using a similar technique to the Mooney Bravo - a transparent overlay with a lua script attached with which we control the texture (cycling through textures to draw the animated rain). Yes - material scripts for the windshield textures. This issue was introduced with P3D v4.4 - it was not an issue on P3D v4.3.

No - it also occurs if Clipmode parameter is missing entirely from the CameraDefinition.

Hi Brady, I believe the issue becomes apparent if you place a smoke effect under the aircraft. You can try this: With the CH-53, default scenario, slew up 100ft, release the aircraft momentarily.
