Re: 'Tearing' of Volumetric Clouds
Sorry, what setting do we need to change? I had Volumetric Clouds on Low in V5.1. and the same setting now produces these unstable edges around the clouds when changing my point of view.. So, in response, I have turned the Volumetric Clouds slider all the way to the left, to Off. Is that what you ar...

Re: Next issue; framerate, coords, gpu usage
@ bpieke , Give this a quick try: Move your prepar3d.cfg file to the desktop and start P3D again. " still have the Shift+Z problem after upgrading the Client only." did you have the problem before updating? Also, Can you verify the keyboard keys mapped did not change? Nice try, but no ban...

Re: Next issue; framerate, coords, gpu usage
I read that Shift+Z now uses a white font, is it possible that the Client does not include this font??
If so, could LM kindly provide a link to just the font? Or someone else?

I still have the Shift+Z problem after upgrading the Client only.

Re: Hyper Threaded
Not sure what you mean by HT compatible.. will it run on an Intel processor with HT enabled, sure it will. The questions in the forums are whether it runs better with HT on or off.. and how many cores should be assigned to P3D. I believe that all depends a great deal on how many CPU cores you have a...

Re: P3d v5 HF1 doesn't start anymore (with addons)
If the addons have the Description field in the addons xml file blank, HF1 will not start.
This worked OK before HF1. Someone posted that the fix is to complete the Description field.
It works!

Re: Prepar3d v5 HF1 won't launch
Initially P3D V5 HF1 would not launch for me either, but then someone posted that addon scenery xml files must have the Description field filled in, and sure enough, mine did not. They worked fine in V5 RTM, but not in HF1.
After manually completing the Description line, P3D started up.

Toronto skyline fix request for V5
Gentlemen, you have updated the worldwide scenery, but left the buildings in downtown Toronto scrambled and not in their correct locations.. just like in previous releases.. Could you please add this to your to-do list for when you revisit this area?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Post 4.5 Hotfix install Very Long Load Times
I find this slightly puzzling... did you use FTX Central to add the Orbx libraries, and if you disable this item in the P3D scenery manager, does the problem disappear?

Re: Long load times
In my case it was a corrupted scenery cfg file and/or P3D Addons folder.
Renaming both as a first test, would be what what I would recommend..

Re: Post 4.5 Hotfix install Very Long Load Times
OK - final chapter... - Ran FTX Central to let it rebuild the scenery.cfg file, after first deleting it and letting P3D generate a default version. That gave me back all my Orbx sceneries. - Reintroduced all the entries into the Addons folder that I actually need, like my GNS 530 and GTN 750.. Ever...
