Are you using road traffic - I found that with any road traffic my GPU would run out or the sim would CTD - with road traffic at 0 no issues (so far)

I run 5.3 and AS - with volumetric cloud and it seems to work well.

Here's the plan - I'm going to fly default 5.3 for a while with only aircraft and Active Sky for real world weather. ORBX Vector may be the cause of ground crashes at the gates... P3D 5.3 looks great out of the box!

I've tried both vanilla P3D 5.3 and one with addons like ORBX stuff and for some reason whenever I load a flight at a gate at KLAX it flags a crash and reloads the default flight. Additionally, the last 2 times I've been on short final to LAX (PMDG 737) I get CTD - still troubleshooting this. Anyone...

P3D 5.2 is solid - this is with ORBX, Active Sky with Cloud Art, and EA off - runs smooth for me and looks great always. Seems to be working with 5.2 and the Global Weather program from Pilots... so far.

Any idea how to fix this? I've noticed it only happens when running a weather engine.
