Re: V6 update to 6.0.28 crash
That's a workaround, but no solution, sorry Jorgen. I'm installing all my P3D versions to drive J:, a Samsung 870 M2 1TB, and install NOT as admin. My P3D is clean, from scratch, all addons are outside, only HF1 installed. Even all settings are the same from setup. The HF2 installer sometimes stops ...

Re: Massive frame drops with v5.2
Thanks for your reply Jorgen. Yes I overwrite my installation. And I can do that ;-). I restored my previous version due to a good backup I made this time. Then I restarted the v5.2 setup, asking me for uninstall or repair, I choosed repair. The "secret" is to clear the shader cache. After...

Massive frame drops with v5.2
Hope I found the correct place for this. I upgraded from v5.1 HF1 to v5.2, fully, in running the setup and overwrite my existing installatin. Everything was fine, no problems, no errors. But after upgrading I foun dlots of sceneries now with a massive frame drop. Usually I have locked my fps to 30, ...

Re: Scenery Library V4
Craig I can only highly recommend the use of Lorby-SI AddOn Organizer. It's a freeware and the best you can find for organizing Prepar3D, installing/uninstalling, deactivating, error fixing, backup etc.

Re: Bugs/issues with P3Dv5 HF2 fresh setup
Thanks a lot Jorgen for your fast answer, really appreciate that! Yes I saw the rain issue, and it looks to be the same, a bug that needs to be fixed. To be honest I cannot remember how this was handled in P3Dv4. Regarding map outsourcing: It's one graphics card with two monitors attached. This work...

Bugs/issues with P3Dv5 HF2 fresh setup
After setting up P3D newly and clean without any addons I noticed the following: - selecting "heavy snow" as weather theme results in a snowy cockpit. This happens with every aircraft, every season and every location. See screenshot 1 below. - While inflight and switching to outside view s...

No no, the website is clean as is the software. Apart from several bugs and other little things. He is not a software programmer, but a hobbyist.
But there are no virusses or other things that would harm your system.

Road traffic
I came back to a short hopper from Key West to Homestead I flew often a couple of years ago. Everything is fine, apart from a few heavy frame dropper, but that might be another question. One thing I noticed is that US 1 (and all other roads) are completely free of road traffic, and it makes no diffe...

Author promotes it's own software :-)
But the AIG OCI manager is a good product, but still in development and a 0.9xx release.

Re: Gauge/Script Error
Hi Rob, that's what I expected. It's an AI aircraft, converted from FS9 to FSX/P3D using ModelConverterX and SDK. It was made under 4.3, I'll try to use the 4.5 SDK compiler. Thanks a lot for your explanation. Regards Dieter Btw, the ContentError flag is a funny one ;-) every new run gives new resul...

Re: P3D can't see Saitek throttle quadrant
Give LINDA a try, I'm very happy with that program in combination with FSUIPC. It controls my Yoke and panels very well.

Gauge/Script Error
After enabling the ContentError flag in Prepar3D.cfg I got a large error report with 100s of errors like the following: ------------------------------------ [error.45] error=Gauge/Script Error Type: Visibility Script Name: RMAI A300-600 ST BGA_F-GSTA Error: Invalid script (no command is more than 4 ...
