Just an update: you never know whether you have fixed an issue but I did the following: I did a scan of all drivers and updated all drivers to most up to date ones and that seems to have helped. I have not had the specific G2d and G3D.dll related issues.

I deleted the generated files again, along with the folders in documents and also removed the prepar3d.cfg again, this time to no ava...

Hurray!!! Got it working again. I had to remove the Prepar3D.cfg file (was empty anyway).

Now the tedious process of re-enabling all addon-scenery. Is there a handy way to do this?

I repeated the process today which got me stuck again on 98% of loading scenery indexes. Additionally removed the P3D client and redownloaded and reinstalled it but that dit not help ...
