No suggestion, but I can confirm this. I even reinstalled the sim from scratch while removing any trace of P3D, and even as vanilla as it can be, I observe this exact behavior. Flying there is not an issue though.

I can confirm this aswell. Triggering any changes related to HTML menus (right click menu, menu bar, shift+z overlays, simconnect window) results in a more or less intense lagspike. P3D5.1HF1, yes. GSX LVL2 and no ATC, the Simconnect window is getting stuck on GSX for me.

Louis, I think you have nailed down the issue. Ticking UTC at the Time and Season window is what "freezes the sun".
I can reproduce that exact behaviour. All other cases work flawlessly. Thank you both for your efforts!

I may also add the important information that the issue is induced by using the time and season window in the first place. Basically once it was opened up, the sun will stop moving as soon as it is closed.

+1 on this, with both EA on and off.
Tested on a vanilla v5 HF2 install.
But I may have found a workaround: For now I am just leaving the time and season popup open, this seems to keep everything in sync. You may want to try that.
