single pass now works! glad i found this thread. 3d perspective from the vc works like stereo mode and water is now usable. only thing missing is the right eye problem. but with single pass available, i can get decent performance on p3dv5 (which is still lacking compared to mfs as stuttering is stil...

alpha fade?
Hi P3D team,
Is there a plan to implement alpha fade for v5? The autogen popping into view in large clumps in the foreground is totally an immersion killer. The new "other" sim in dx11 uses alpha fade to great effect, there is no noticeable objects popping into view.

i see flickering with asw=on in p3d so i turn it off using the traytool. don't see any benefit with asw on p3d, just flickering textures.

the cause of this problem seems to be how 2d gauge displayed over the vc is rendered while in vr mode. for the fsl model, there is a tiny gauge that's displayed at the upper left corner of the screen. when this gauge is undocked or commented out in panel.cfg, the white windows in vr doesn't show up....

general question regarding the single pass rendering: is this feature based on nvidia's gfx card driver api? is this something nvidia is actively supporting and can offer a fix via driver update?

p3dv4.2 vr single pass object flicking on/off
this may be related to what others are reporting:
vector object like power line towers are flickering on/of using the single pass mode. if normal stereoscopic mode is used, everything is normal.
i saw this around orbx lowi scenery.

p3dv4.1 content update fixed the f16 autoflaps.
but looks like the fix was done within the .mdl, not by fixing the SCControl.dll. so autoflap works fine for the stock f16 but will not work for the aerosoft f16 .mdl migrated to p3dv4.1.

ah, no. the autoflap gauge is inop. the dll needs to be fixed for x64.
