Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX

Sorry but this cannot be true. They answer everything basically, alone in the last 2 weeks they offered over 20 ppl to directly assist them with things like teamviewer and that. Show me one single developer who does this. Besides this, every other dev needs this too, the registration with orderID. A...

Re: Cloud Shadows in P3Dv4.4 - the biggest FPS Killer !!!!

+1. That goes for content too, running client v. 4.5 with content v. 4.4 makes all bets go off. Content v. 4.4 was never intended to run under client v. 4.5, so the results of doing just that will be, to put it politely, unpredictable. Jorgen From where do you see that hes running 4.5 with 4.4 cont...

Re: P3d 4.3 Control settings not saved

The alleged bug is not in P3D itself, as proven by the fact that only some users experience the drop in FPS. The problem is reportedly in P3D's interactions with some 3rd party add-ons. Jorgen I think you mixed some topics up ^^ I think this isnt about performance but about joystick configurations.

Re: PBR and Antialiasing quality

Non PBR liveries need no reboot, as you can see in the CS757 screenshots. AA changes will reflect after clicking OK button. Its the PBR liveries that dont show effect

Re: PBR and Antialiasing quality

Its very interesting.... Now i restarted the sim on 8ssaa set and all is good. BUT again setting changes dont have any affect. I can set it to 2 MSAA and it still looks exactly same as with 8 SSAA

Re: PBR and Antialiasing quality

And one with a non PBR model, the CS 757. Clearly visible how AA affects the plane. 4 MSAA https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/322524917448835084/572145486451179531/unknown.png 8 MSAA https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/322524917448835084/572145583662432267/unknown.png 2 SSAA https://cdn.disco...

Re: PBR and Antialiasing quality

Another one. Seems the plane isnt affected at all. One can see change when looking at the thin yellow line on runway, below right wing, between plane body and 2-nd engine. With SSAA this line looks a bit smoother. But the whole plane is untouched, same pixels. 4 MSAA https://cdn.discordapp.com/attac...

Re: Slow loading Autogen upon arrival

"I have the autogen and scenery draw distance set to "Very High" which is the second highest detent on the slider. " There is your problem. Its too much. Your system cant handle it. If P3D has too high settings all details will get less if system cannot handle it. Then you loose autogen/late loading...

Re: 30 or 31 Target frame rate?

Many have found that leaving the fps lock set to unlimited in P3D, and setting the fps outside the sim produces the most fluid experience. This was okay in P3Dv3 but not recommended for v4 because P3D internally manages workload based on the frame rate value. It adjust accordingly when the user sel...

Re: Frame issues in Prepar3D v4.5

thanks for the warning @simmershome.... Im not sure how LM is testing this but in a world where 92% of the users are using many addons i would say its time to test in such environments. Not in a clean sim. A clean sim has nothing to do with the P3d that ppl fly. This is ok for game development and o...
