Re: Heading Issue

If you are using fsAerodata, there was a rev1 of latest cycle, that fixed an error on the magnetic variation table for Year 2019. It was released on the same day the original AIRAC was published.

Re: Navaids and GPS Update Confusion

Hello Mike, fsAerodata updates the stock navigation database (airport and enroute) to latest AIRAC allowing to sync the flightsim data with Navigraph data included on addons, while matching real enroute and terminal charts. I think this is the real benefit of having both solutions working together. ...

Two Outstanding bugs on ATC

Hello LM Team, There are two outstanding bugs related to ATC, from the legacy FSX/ESP code, that are still present on Prepar3D; would be great to have them fixed on a future release. 1. ATC does not display the runway designator when the approach includes a suffix; e.g LIML ILS-36-Y is displayed as ...

Re: San Francisco Class Bravo Airspace

The aeronautical database from fsAerodata updates the airspace data on Prepar3D, following the AIRAC cycles.
I can post how the new boundaries look like, as soon as cycle 1809 is ready.

Support for WAAS-enabled GPS units

Hi, this is a request to LM development team, and I think it was raised a long time ago Prepar3D Autopilot lacks the capability to perform GPS LPV approaches (GPS with vertical guidance), because there is no possibility to feed the WAAS-enabled signal from GPS unit to P3D A/P. 10 years after it's im...

Re: SIDs/STARs XML gps and map variables

Yes, they work with our SIDs/STARs database when displaying a fligthplan. One remark, which is not documented neither on your excellent quidebook nor on Prepar3d SDK; to display SIDs, STARs, the following flags need to be set on variable ObjectDetailLayerFlightPlan : Bit 4: display Arrivals when set...

ATC menu does not display runway on approaches w. suffix

Hello LM Team, There are two very specific issues related to how approaches are displayed on ATC and GPS. This is a limitation when using our fsAerodata aeronautical database on Prepar3D. 1. ATC does not display the runway designator when the approach includes a suffix; e.g LIML ILS-36-Y is displaye...

[RESOLVED] TACAN navaids behaviour

Hello, This question is mainly addressed to Prepar3D team, Are any of the stock aircrafts compatible with TACAN navaids, according the specific SDK format defined by Prepar3D? Checked F-22 Iris Raptor, and seems any TACAN channel selected, is converted inside the aircraft to its equivalent ILS freq....

Airspace - Center/Information Sectors not displayed on GPS

Hello,
I've detected on Prepar3D v4, that ARTCC sectors, which are listed on GPS, together with rest of airspace, are not displayed on this new version; I guess, the system disables all boundaries type "CENTER"; they were correct on previous versions though.

Thanks,
Jose L. / fsAerodata

[RESOLVED] Calculate Route not implemented on P3D v4

Hello,
the option to calculate route is not available in flight planner menu, on latest version v4; only manual selection of waypoints on map; just wondering if this feature is missing or was intentionally removed due to some kind of incompatibilities.

Re: SIDs and STARs V4 question.

Fully agree with this request; on fsAerodata aeronautical database, when the name has >5 chars, we keep the first three (normally associated with first or last waypoint of procedure) and the last two, which are normally associated to revision number and route indicator, but this is not a good soluti...
