Running up-to-date v5.2 with HFs. When scenario screen opens some airports are missing from drop down menu,but not always. Aerosoft EGLL is one, UK2000 EGKK in another. Other airports from same developers are fine, as are these at other times. No pattern for when they are missing.

Yes, not sure if that was the problem, but I seem to have it sorted out now. At least as far as the add-ons.cfg go.

I am having trouble with SODE. I 'checked my add-ons.cfg file in C:\Program Data\Lockeed Martin\P3d v5. The file had a Discxovery Path for ORBX Libraries and one for TEBG Library. The rest was filled with what looked like Chinese or Japanese characters. THE BAK folder appeared to be correct. The oth...

My Lockheed Martin folder in AppData has folders for Prepar3D, Prepar3D v2, Prepar3 v4 and Prepar3d v5. I only have v5 installed on my machine. Do I need these other folders or can they be deleted.

I made a mistake in the original reinstall. I let it install in C:\Programs (86) although I thought I had changed it. I reinstalled 5.1 and then had to reinstall missing aircraft. Things seem to be working now.

@Martyson Don't use v4. Sim not installed, but folder still there.

All there, including the 777 and DC-6, which I don't have in v5.

All the normal folders, etc. I am using just P3d v5, although the v4 folder still exits, not the .exe though.

@Martyson Then why don't the PMDG and others not show up?

Right, I didn't delete the folder since I never had to reinstall those planes when only doing client update. In other words, anything installed in the P3d v5 folder has to be reinstalled?

Thanks. I usually only update the client, but this time decided to go the whole route. The aircraft are still int he SimObjects folder, should they be removed from there?

I did almost all of that. Didn't bother with the SDK part. Add-on aircraft shouldn't disappear with the reinstall, should they? If so, why to the .xml add-ons remain?
