Re: differential_braking_scale problem.

Hi Mike,

Yes it helps...I did not see it like that. Thank you for the clarification.
As it is not so easy for me to apply the same amount of brake (left and right) on my pedal hardware, I thought I could tune this with this parameter.
Again thanks

Re: differential_braking_scale problem.

0 means no differential braking is possible, and differential brake commands will result in symmetrical brakes
For me it is not working like that, that's why I think there is a problem with this parameter.
Thanks

Re: differential_braking_scale problem.

Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your answer. Here is what can be find in the SDK documentation. Differential braking is a function of the normal both brakes on and the rudder pedal input. The amount of difference between the left and right brake is scaled by this value. 1.0 is the normal setting if diffe...

[RESOLVED] differential_braking_scale problem.

Bonjour, It seems that in the aircraft configuration file the parameter differential_braking_scale in the [brakes] section has no effect. I set it to 0.0 in the default Iris Raptor Driver, and that should result in no differential brakes, but that doesn't work. Can anybody confirm this. Thanks a lot...

To LM for info.

Bonjour, 1. Since the last version when a volume with a scnenery is not present P3DV4 doesn't start and get stucked on the splash screen. Before in the previous version there was an alert saying the scenery could not be installed. 2. With each new version of P3D it is more and more difficult to load...

Re: Problems with snow and ground texture.

Hi Dan, Thanks for your answer. Yes I have "frozen surface in winter" turned off, and also I disabled all my addon to narrow the problem. So I'll never know what is the reason of this behavior. There is certainly an explication. Sometimes I wonder if flight simulation hobby is for me. Now with the p...

Re: Problems with snow and ground texture.

Thank you Nick for your clarification.
I was about to ask the same question on the ORBX forum, but I guess I will get the same answer.

Anyway, this behavior is not great and during the take off roll the "snow tiles" popup is very disturbing.
But it is only a simulator.
Cheers

Problems with snow and ground texture.

Bonjour, Could anybody help me to understand how the snow on ground is managed. 1 Take off runway 18R KMCO in winter. Weather injection using different products (AS for P3DV4) https://s17.postimg.org/gmhkal8y7/snow.jpg As you can see no snow on the ground, no snow on the runway. 2 Start rolling on t...

Re: Plane Crashing Into Ground When Loading a Scenario - PMDG

Bonjour Dave, Just to be clear. For me it is not sure that the problem is on the PMDG side. It could be, it could be on the LM side, and may be both. It is similar to the problem of not able to load a scenario from a FXML file when using PMDG planes. It was working well before P3DV3, since it is not...

Re: Plane Crashing Into Ground When Loading a Scenario - PMDG

Bonjour, This problem of not able to reload a scenario since the last PMDG update is very annoying, and product like FSIPanel does not work as before. FSIPAnel is a nice product if you want to practise approach and landing without having to reload everything... Unfortunately it is not yet possible w...

Core 0 behavior

Bonjour, While I was making some tests to improve my P3DV4 configuration, I noticed that the core 0 is always near 100% cpu. I know it is normal with plane like PMDG or slider at the max, but whatever the parameters, it is always 100%. For example : Vehicule: Avatar All the sliders at the minimum St...

Re: Error - 1 in log.

Yes WarpD, I know that P3D has nothing to do with this problem but as error -1 was given by Simconnect log, I was just looking for someone knowing the signification.
The addon is supposed to be compatible V4.
Thanks a lot
