Re: Installation problem
I also checked the minimum system requirements for Pre V4 and I found that I should have Windows 7 with 64 bit, mine is 32, Sp-1. Could this be the problem? That's one of your problems. You can run a 32 bit application on a 64 bit PC but you CANNOT run a 64 bit application on a 32 bit PC. The whole...

Re: Unregistered FSUIPC
Hi Monir, Personally I wouldn't be without my registered version of FSUIPC and also Wide FS(for networking programs remote from my P3D machine). It allows a much greater range of control and as Vic says, it is needed by a lot of add-ons. You can download the latest official version from Pete's page ...

Have you checked what versions of Visual C++ runtimes you have installed. You might need to go back and install all of them from 2005 up to present date.

Re: P3D 3.4 Vanilla Install on Windows 7 keeps crashing
Hello Simtech1, Long shot, but I notice you are still running .NET Framework 4.0. That is quite an old version and it might help if you updated to the latest version .NET 4.6.2. Also when you did your complete uninstall/re-install did you clean your registry. This has often helped in my case. I am g...

Re: Individual installs rather than the full package
The answer is NO - you do not need to run setup.exe if you do individual installs. Now to a puzzle: Do you need the Setup.exe if you do individual installs???
Setup.exe is for a complete install. It is actually well documented in the forum and in the release notes.

Re: Progam hangs at loading scenery
Hi Fedor,
You can try deleting your "shadersHLSL.cfg" file in "Program Data\Lockheed Martin\Prepare3Dv3" folder which will allow your .cfg file to rebuild on start-up.

Re: No planes at airports
"I'm using MT6 and it works great no issues whatsoever." That good news. Just wondering if MT6 has been officially released for P3Dv3, v3.3, v3.3.5 with its own installer ... or is it still in beta testing? The answer is yes and has been since October 2015 as far as I recall. Its v6.0a Th...

Re: Truncated Scenery Library Screen
Are you trying to install the FSX version using the migration tool or the P3D version?
There is a version for P3D available as a free upgrade, especially if you bought it from Simmarket.
I have it on my sim and it installs no problem.

Re: Install_content question
In Control Panel, Prepar3d Content is 11,3 GB. Install Content is 3.026 MB. That´s correct? Yes that's correct because the Install_content.msi installer uses the cont1.cab cabinet file, which is just another name for a .zip file, to extract and decompress all the necessary stuff for the content par...

Re: Scenery Problem with bgl airport add-ons
If the default airports had any resemblance of fidelity, such as mid-tier add on airports for example, then the impact would be somewhat mitigated. But I find the default airports look much like the FS2002 default airports did with little improvement. What the developers and engineers need to under...

If you read this thread I doubt you will want to upgrade to v3.3, I know I'm not.
